A stunning original screen print by Stephen Dove, St Ives, England - 1992.
Stephen Dove is a prominent artist and educator who has been an integral part of the St Ives art scene since moving there in 1980. Born in 1949, Dove studied at Lanchester Polytechnic and Hull College of Art before settling in Cornwall. He is a painter, printmaker, and teacher who has worked from the historic Porthmeor Studios. Dove was a co-founder of the Porthmeor Printmakers in 1990, a group that has supported educational ventures at the Penwith and Tate Galleries. His work, which includes figures, landscapes, and seascapes like his notable painting View from a Window, The Island, St Ives, is held in public collections including the Royal Cornwall Museum and St Thomas' Hospital in London
