Abstract Mid Century Screen Print

An original mid century screen print. The artwork depicts ambiguous naturalistic shapes suggesting bodily parts which can be read differently depending on the viewer. I see this artwork as a playful suggestive image, but I love the way that the ambiguity resists any formal interpretation. The perfect application of screen printing in over-layered transparent colours alongside the bold colour way creates an eye catching piece which draws the attention in a space.
